Thank you for sharing this personal moment for us to be a part of. My condolences to Matt's family and friends for your loss. I had the opportunity to work with Matt from 2018 to 2021 and he was always very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable - the kind of person anyone would want to work with. He was the last person I had a work meeting with last year. It's surreal that Matt is no loner with us. He will definitely be missed. RIP Matt.

Matt was one of my closest friends. A beautiful, intelligent and caring man with the most pure soul. We met 5 years ago at work. We lived together and had many great times, travelling to the Blue Mountains and down to Jervis Bay. If I ever needed him, he was there. He shared my sarcastic sense of humous and we had many many laughs. He was one of a kind. I am absolutely devastated. I am only glad that I regularly told Matt that I loved him and he had a very special place in my heart. The last time I saw him, I was 28 weeks pregnant and leaving to come back to WA. The last time we spoke, he was travelling overseas and we were discussing the borders opening so he could come over and watch a Hawks game with me at Optus stadium, and meet my little boy. He is now a beautiful angel watching over us and a very special uncle to Milo. I will never forget you Matt. I love you. xxx

Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there, I do not sleep I am a thousand winds that blow I am the diamond glints on snow I am the sunlight on ripened grain I am the gentle Autumn’s rain When you awaken in the morning’s hush I am the swift, uplifting rush Of quite hawks in circled flight I am the soft star shine at night Do not stand at my grave and cry I am not there, I did not die. Rest in peace Matt . We miss you more than you will ever know. Love Anne and Greg
